Galaxy Note 8: Samsung phone receives Android 9 with One UI in Europe-Distribution in Bulgaria and Slovakia

As promised, Samsung will launch the Android 9 Pie and One UI for the Galaxy Note 8 in February. For the time being the software update reaches only users in Bulgaria and Slovakia. After the Note 9 and the Galaxy S9 (Plus) Samsung is now dedicated to the next flagship in terms of Android 9 Pie: the Galaxy Note 8. As announced by the South Korean manufacturer, the 2017 smartphone receives the pie update this month along with One UI, Samsung’s own user interface. However, as the online portal XDA Developers reports, the update initially only reaches users in Bulgaria and Slovakia. There it comes with the security update for February and a file size of just under two gigabytes.

Samsung is well on schedule, they had spent for the Android Pie Update. The chances are therefore good that German users will also enjoy Android 9 Pie and One UI in the next two weeks.
